  • Retelling Stories

    This afternoon,the children had lots of fun retelling ‘The Three Little Pigs’ in the reading area. Can you spot the big bad wolf?

  • Multi Sports Event

    We’ve had a fabulous morning at a multi sports event at All Saints Junior School. Here are some action shots!🤩

  • Colour Mixing

    Our year 1s and Y2s have been learning about primary and secondary colours. We mixed paint to make a fabulous painting, replicating the style of modern artist Jasper Johns. Our paintings are all about numbers.

  • EYFS fun!

    Our reception children made tasty fruit kebabs this week. We used our senses to explore different fruits then we designed our own fruit kebab. We learnt how to wash and cut fruit safely.

  • Multi Skills Event

    On Thursday we attended a sporting event at Highfields School. We practised a range of skills and tried new sports including yoga and tennis. 😊

  • Book Boxes

    As part of our World Book Day celebrations, we worked in teams to make a ‘book in a box’. We enjoyed making a scene from our favourite books inside the boxes.

  • Class 1 Fun Run

    We had a fantastic time this morning at ‘The Fun Run’ which took place at All Saints Junior School.
    We took part in lots of warm up games and then ‘The Race’! Everyone tried their best and performed brilliantly! We’re super proud of Team Churchtown! 😊

  • Fun in the water!

    Our reception children have had lots of fun playing with the vehicles in the water. We did some exploring and problem solving to see if we could make the vehicles go further.

  • Pancake day fun!

    Yesterday our reception children made delicious pancakes. 😋

  • Computing in Class 1

    Our Y1s and Y2s have been practising their mental maths skills using ‘Maths Whizz’. Who will make ‘The Hall of Fame’ this week?
    We’ve also has great fun predicting the outcome of a set of instructions, using Beebots. Great team work this week!
